You would agree with me that no matter how developed a country appears to be, there is always a significant need for education as it continually generates research and development to improve not only human life but also a country and a continent as a whole.

However, there are often financial challenges associated with acquiring a good, quality education both within and outside one’s country, and this tends to largely limit young students who have shown great leadership potential. and an outstanding academic record to achieve your goals

However, in situations like this, all hope is not lost, as scholarships are taken advantage of from time to time for these students to obtain and use.

Across Asia, there seem to be a lot of unclaimed scholarships, which is a result of poor information from students about scholarships, but that is why we at worldscholarshipforum.com have decided to give Asians all the information about scholarships that is for you.

We will continually make sure that you never miss any relevant scholarship information for ASEAN and that is why we bring this information to TOP 10 ASEAN SCHOLARSHIPS 2022.

ABOUT ASEAN:

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) was formed in 1967 by Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand to promote political and economic cooperation and regional stability.

Brunei joined in 1984, shortly after its independence from the UK, and Vietnam joined ASEAN as its seventh member in 1995. Laos and Burma were admitted as full members in July 1997 when ASEAN celebrated its 30th anniversary. Cambodia became the 10th member of ASEAN in 1999.

The ASEAN Declaration in 1967, considered the founding document of ASEAN, formalized the principles of peace and cooperation to which ASEAN is dedicated. The ASEAN Charter entered into force on December 15, 2008.

With the entry into force of the ASEAN Charter, ASEAN established its legal identity as an international organization and took an important step in its community-building process.

The ASEAN Community is made up of three pillars, the Political and Security Community, the Economic Community, and the Socio-Cultural Community.

Each pillar has its own Plan approved at the summit and, together with the Strategic Framework of the ASEAN Integration Initiative (IAI) and the IAI Phase II Work Plan (2009-2015), form the Roadmap for an ASEAN Community 2009-2015.

ASEAN has far greater influence in Asia-Pacific trade, and political and security affairs than its members could achieve individually. This has fueled ASEAN’s community-building efforts. This work is largely based on consultation, consensus, and cooperation.
