  5. Please I need scholarships to Masters in public Health Nursing or any midwifery related courses

    1. Congratulations on your ambition to pursue further education in the field of public health nursing or midwifery-related courses! Earning a Master’s degree in a public health nursing or midwifery-related field can be a great way to gain the expertise and credentials you need to become an effective leader in the healthcare community. Thankfully, there are many scholarship opportunities available which can help fund your pursuit of higher education.

One option is The Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) Scholarships Program. This program is open to NMC member countries, including individuals from the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada who are eligible for registration with their respective professional bodies. Additionally, it provides funding towards tuition fees and travel/residence expenses incurred while enrolled at an approved university or college abroad.

Another option that could be suitable for international students would be The Institute of International Education’s Peterson’s Scholarship Directory. This directory offers scholarship information for academic programs around the world related to medicine/health sciences, including public health nursing and midwifery degrees. It provides up-to-date details about scholarships from universities as well as organizations such as governments, corporations and non-profits which provide award opportunities specifically designed for international students looking to earn a master’s degree abroad.

You should also consult with local hospitals and medical facilities near you since they may offer specific grants or other forms of financial aid towards furthering one’s studies in public health nursing or midwifery courses—particularly if you plan on working for them afterwards upon graduation. Lastly, consider researching regional funds within your own country related to continuing education funded by local governments; these often have relaxed eligibility requirements compared with those offered by large organizations like universities or charitable foundations targeting international applicants.

Whatever route you may choose when seeking out scholarships towards earning a Master’s degree in public health nursing or midwifery-related fields—we wish you all success on achieving your educational ambitions!

  6. Is there any scholarship for those already employed in Government but want continue with their education to Diploma or undergraduate degree in Public Health? I am from Malawi.

    1. Yes, there are a number of scholarships available to those employed in government who wish to pursue further education in public health. The Malawi Ministry of Health offers two forms of scholarship specifically directed at employees working for the ministry or other government entities. The first is the Malawi Government Scholarship for Public Health. This scholarship covers all tuition, fees and travel associated with studies leading to a Diploma or undergraduate degree in public health-related disciplines such as community health, epidemiology and biostatistics. It requires an annual application process that involves submitting proof of employment from your employer (the government), as well as academic transcripts from any previous educational institutions attended.

The second form of scholarship offered by the Ministry of Health is the National Scholarships Programme for Public Health (NSPHP). Through this programme, students employed by the government may apply for funding assistance to cover up to 80% of their tuition fees for studies leading towards a diploma or degree in public health-related disciplines such as community health, epidemiology and biostatistics. Similar requirements must be fulfilled during an annual application process including proof of employment from your employer (the government) and academic transcripts form any previous educational institutions attended.

In addition to these two scholarship programmes offered through the Ministry of Health, there are also other sources that should be pursued when looking into financing options available for continuing education related to public health workforce development in Malawi:
      • The African Development Bank offer grants which can fund graduate level research projects within Africa focusing on areas related to policy formulation within Public Administration • World Bank Fellowships provide funds primarily targeting senior professionals engaged with developmental issues • US Embassy High Impact Initiatives provide support primarily targeting non-profits organisations • Various international Aid Agencies sponsor research grants aimed at supporting specific topics/issues related to healthcare delivery throughout Africa • International universities – Many universities offer attractive packages aimed at attracting foreign students wishing turn their knowledge into careers; considering countries like Australia which have consistently invested on postgraduate programs due their successful economic policies
