Studying in Canada is one of the most enriching educational experiences on a personal, academic, and work level. You probably know someone who has lived this experience, each year more than 300,000 students decide to undertake this journey.

The language, quality of life, multiculturalism, and educational programs aimed at international audiences have made Canada the country with the best education in the world in the last decade.

However, each educational system is different. Therefore, it is important that you understand what you can study in Canada.

University, College, High School, Pathway, Undergraduate Program, Higher Education, Career Program, or Post Graduation Work Permit are just some terms of the Canadian academic vocabulary that you should know well before embarking on this adventure.

What to study in Canada 2022

The first thing you must take into account in order to carry out an educational program in Canada is to choose very well what you want to do. For this, the most important thing is that you know the educational offer and this is the first thing we want to explain.

Because there are multiple options and there are many students who would have liked to do something else once they land in the country with the investment already made.

The Canadian educational offer is divided mainly into three large blocks:

Before talking about each block, it is important that you know that if you want to establish yourself formally in the country in the future, studying in Canada is the easiest way to obtain Permanent Residence.

Therefore, you must take into account when choosing your studies that there are programs that are a springboard for Permanent Residence, for this Canada classifies some programs with a work permit called PGWP (Post Graduation Work Permit), if you study a program with PGWP your chances of residing in the country in the future are multiplied.

English Courses (ESL)

If you have met someone who went to live in Canada for a while and you ask them why they left, one of the reasons you will hear is: to learn a language or improve their level of English.

The general ignorance of people who want to come to study English is about the work permit. As a general rule, English learning courses (ESL) do not allow you to work.

Therefore, if you are coming to Canada for a short period of time and you can stay in the country without working, English courses are an excellent option. Otherwise, the best option is the Career Programs.
