About Schwarzman Scholars

Schwarzman Scholars was planned in a joint effort with world-driving universities to make an international local area that bridges distinctions. The scholarship is a fully-funded award of one year for the master’s degree and leadership program at Tsinghua University in China. The scholarship is intended to address the difficulties of the 21st century It was enlivened by the Rhodes Scholarship, which was established in 1902 with the end goal of advancing international comprehension and peace. The scholar will be selected with an intensive evaluation and will be living in Beijing China for one year to further their studies and cultural immersion, attending lectures, traveling around the regions, and developing a better understanding of China.

Scholarship Curriculum

• Core Curriculum- The core curriculum furnishes Scholars with the information they need to explore China’s part in the worldwide economy and worldwide affairs. Scholars foster administration abilities in their particular fields through core and elective courses, workshops, training, mentorship, and openness to significant-level industry specialists.
• Elective Courses- The scholars can select from the elective courses of the university in which they can achieve their career goals while gaining a wide understanding of leadership and global affairs.
• Innovation and collaboration- they are built into the perspective of the program which includes a deep dive into the course and field trips to regions and visiting the government agencies, cultural sites, and other China’s leading companies.
• Leadership program that will help the students analyze leadership from cross-cultural and interdisciplinary career perspectives. A leadership practice course will be given to the scholars and provides orientation and workshops to enhance their leadership skills.

Scholarship Eligibility 

Before proceeding with the application, interested students must meet the eligibility requirements of the scholarship program. The scholars are selected from international candidates.

In addition to the eligibility, the students must also meet the following:

• Must be holding an undergraduate degree, there are no prerequisites for a particular field of undergrad study; all fields are gladly received, yet it is significant for candidates.
• The candidates must be 18-28 years of age at the time of the application.
• The applicants must have good communication skills in oral and written English, all courses will be thought in the English language. English proficiency test scores will be required at admission.
