The Ochberg Fellowships, the lead worldwide program, is an exceptional seminar that unites journalists from around the world who wish to develop their insight into trauma and further develop the inclusion of conflict, violence, and tragedy for seven days of seminars and discussions. Beginning around 1999 the Ochberg Fellowships have upheld in excess of 200 journalists from 25 nations.
About Dart Center Ochberg Fellowships

About the Provider
The Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma is an asset community and worldwide organization of journalists, journalist educators, and health professionals committed to further developing media inclusion of trauma, conflict, and tragedy. It is a task of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalists in New York City, with worldwide satellite workplaces in London and Melbourne.
The Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma proceeds with a mission that started in 1991 when Blunt Ochberg M.D., a specialist, and trailblazer in the treatment of traumatic pressure, teamed up with news-casting personnel at Michigan State University and the Michigan Casualty Coalition to lay out a little program to help news coverage understudies in providing details regarding survivors of violence with responsiveness, nobility, and regard.

Eligibility
- The fellowship is open to all outstanding journalists all over the world.
- The journalist must have at least five years of experience in professional journalism in all media aspects or topics.
- Past Fellows have gone from the humble community and local general-task and wrongdoing journalists to war photographic artists and unfamiliar reporters for worldwide news associations. Both staff journalists and consultants are free to apply. Candidates’ work should show journalistic greatness and a solid history of covering trauma and its effect on people, families, or networks.
- Freelance journalists and staff are also encouraged to apply.
- The Fellowship is available to print, broadcast, and advanced columnists, picture takers, editors, and makers with something like five years of professional news coverage experience. Roughly 50% of the Fellows will be situated in North America, with the equilibrium drawn from Focal and South America, Europe, the Asia Pacific locale, Africa, and the Middle East.

Fellowship Awards
Dart Ochberg Fellowships will be covering the successful fellow’s travel expenses including roundtrip airfare and ground fares, accommodation, meals, and other related expenses prior to the program.
The fellowship will be held by July 21-27 2023 at Columbia University in New York City USA.
