The three-year PhD program at CBS allows you to conduct research under the guidance of CBS faculty while also receiving research training. The program is quite international, and you will be asked to attend international research conferences and spend time as a visiting PhD student in another country.

The PhD candidate will attend the CBS PhD School. The SI PhD cohort, which is a structured research-training program, will accept the selected individuals. This contains a set of fundamental courses and techniques courses in the primary SI research topics (econometrics, experiments and qualitative methods). PhD alumni from CBS are valued not just in academia and research institutes, but also in government and business, where their research skills are in high demand. SI PhD graduates have found jobs in places like Pompeu Fabra University, SKEMA, KTH, EPFL, Leeds University Business School, and the University of Utah.
