Scholarship details
Going to college is one big struggle of students these days. This is because college costs significantly more compared to how much they are paying in lower education level. This thought inspired Dorothy Carey and founded her scholarship (Dorothy and Michael Carey Scholarship) to help students with financial needs. Dorothy Carey was an active member of the community who had left a generous bequest of $100,000 will money. This money is now being used to provide two annual scholarships amounting $2500 each to graduating senior high school students from River View and Coshocton High Schools. Home schooled students are also welcome to apply for this scholarship, provided that they must meet the requirements indicated below.
