Scholarship details
The University of West London (UWL) is pleased to announce that it will provide up to one hundred scholarships with a value of up to five thousand pounds toward first year undergraduate tuition fees and up to two thousand pounds toward postgraduate tuition fees for international fee-paying applicants who are applying to begin their studies in either September or February 2023. The purpose of the International Ambassador Scholarship is to recognize exceptional students at UWL who have expressed interest in serving as ambassadors for the university and to provide financial support to those individuals.
You will play an active role in representing the University in your capacity as an ambassador. You will be questioned and photographed by our marketing department as part of the expectation that you will take part in promotional activities that are currently taking place as well as those that will take place in the future. Additionally, the scholar is expected to assist in the promotion of the university on a regular basis by providing support for activities that are organized for scholars as well as events that are organized by the International Office. The scholar acknowledges and accepts that they will not be compensated in any way for their involvement in promotional efforts. Any intellectual property or other rights that are developed as part of the promotional material will be assigned to the University by the scholar. In the case that the scholar is not adequately completing the responsibilities associated with the role, the University maintains the right to revoke the scholarship.

Scholarship Offer:
- 100 scholarships, each worth up to £5,000, will be awarded to first-year undergraduate students, and 100 scholarships, each worth up to £2,000, will be awarded to postgraduate students.
The Gustafsson & Skrondal Visiting Scholarship is administered by the University of Oslo’s Centre for Educational Measurement (CEMO). As part of the visiting scholar program, CEMO and the University of Oslo host a number of young researchers from Norway and elsewhere each year.
Eligibility for Scholarship.
- Candidates who demonstrate enthusiasm and the ability to be an excellent international student ambassador will be considered for the International Ambassador Scholarship, which will be awarded on the basis of a competitive application process.
- Applicants are need to be:
- A recipient receives an offer to enroll in either an undergraduate or postgraduate program at UWL, with the intention of beginning their studies in September 2023. This indicates that you are required to have already submitted an application for a program of study at this University and be in possession of an official offer from one of our Admissions Officers in order to be considered for admission.
- a student who is financially responsible for themselves and pays full tuition in another country.

If a student enrolls in one of the degree programs offered by SOAS University of London, they may be eligible to receive a fee waiver award in the amount of £5,000. This award is available to students who are interested in receiving a degree from SOAS University of London.
