Conditions that participants must meet:

  • Be an international student. A French applicant or permanent resident in France will not be able to apply for the award.

  • If you are taking a course or training in France, your application to the Eiffel Excellence scholarship is prohibited.
  • It is not required to speak the French language.

It is important to mention that the fellow may request a period of linguistic preparation. The cost of the preparation program is not covered by the scholarship, but the scholarship recipient can request the monthly allowance for up to a maximum of two months.

Scholarship recipients for doctoral-level will receive the following benefits:

  • monthly allowance of between € 1400 for accommodation and meals
  • Round trip travel expenses from the country of origin

Interested parties must be nominated by the various higher education institutions in France. Subsequently, a committee of experts will select the scholarship recipients.
