What level is the scholarship for?

Master’s Degre

Who awards the scholarship?

MOB Foundation – Magdalena O. Vda. by Brockman

Who is this call addressed to?

The MOB scholarships for master’s studies abroad are intended to promote high-level education, through the granting of scholarships for master’s degrees abroad, both from their own and from other institutions.

Promote the professional growth of Mexican students, exposing them to different and advanced cultures and countries, motivating them to return to Mexico, thus improving the capacity of the workforce and the technological and cultural level of the country.

Magdalena O. Vda. Scholarships de Brockmann was founded in 1993 by Ing. Guillermo Brockmann Obregón, in memory of his mother, to support outstanding Mexicans and promote first-rate advanced education, thus training competitive, innovative people with a global vision and committed to Mexico.

MOB is convinced that advanced education and support for philanthropy in this area provide Mexico with the gateway to the modern world.
In support of this mission, the Foundation invites young Mexicans wishing to study for a master’s degree of excellence abroad, to compete for the program’s scholarships.

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE PRELIMINARY INTERVIEW ARE

1. To receive general guidance and identify the strengths and weaknesses of the applicant
2. To review the times and requirements to apply for the scholarship
3. To obtain useful suggestions on how to make consistent decisions and on subsidized or high-quality and low-cost academic programs cost, and the partner universities that are available to our scholars.
4. Review the applicant’s preliminary financial plan.
5. Applications will only be accepted from individuals beginning their master’s degrees in the fall following the scholarship award.
6. Given the high level of competition for the scholarships presented here, candidates who do not meet all of the above requirements are advised to postpone their application. Applications that do not meet all these requirements will not be considered.

ARE EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED FROM THIS PROGRAM

a. Programs that are not master’s degrees (eg diplomas and doctorates).
b. Programs that are not face-to-face master’s degrees (eg distance or mixed master’s degrees).
c. Master’s degrees in MEDICINE, ARCHITECTURE, ARTS, SPORTS, and the like.
d. Support for the second or later year of a master’s degree already started.
and. Support for people who already have a master’s degree.

VERY IMPORTANT

Due to the fact that it has become a common practice among universities around the world to offer hybrid, semi-attendance programs, and others called “Own Programs” that do not fall within the classification of official courses, we inform the general public and our candidates that these programs are NOT considered in our call to compete for a MOB scholarship because they do not meet the original objectives of our mandate, which specifically seeks that our graduates obtain degrees from official master’s programs with international certification.

FUNDING LIMIT

MOB SCHOLARSHIPS will not consider master’s programs whose total costs (total cost minus tuition discounts, grants, employer sponsorships, and/or scholarships from other agencies – not counting the MOB scholarship or any credit or loan) exceed 75 thousand US dollars or its equivalent in any currency.

ABOUT MBA AND LLM

In the cases of master’s degrees in business administration (MBA) and master’s degrees in law (LLM), those programs that address areas of social impact (environmental, political-social, sustainable development, social entrepreneurship, etc.) will be considered as a priority.) duly justified in the personal projects of the candidates. Applications will be strictly evaluated in this sense. Likewise, said cases will be evaluated based on the value-versus-cost of the proposed programs.
