Scholarship details
The University of Tokyo in Japan is now offering a scholarship program called the Graduate School of Science International Scholarships. This scholarship is open to all international students who wanted to exchange cultures with the Japanese students. This is intended for the master’s Degree with the aim in promoting the University of Tokyo to all students from abroad. Aside from that, it also adheres to the mission in helping deserving students who are in financial downfall but are excellent in academic performance.
A known public research university, the University of Tokyo located in the area of Bunkyo is considered as one of the most stable and prestigious academic university located in Japan. Garnering a top ranking, in Japan it is ranked as 1st and in Asia ranked as 12th in year 2012.
150,000 yen monthly awaits the deserving applicants which will cover academic fees. Enrollment will start in April and September 2018.
Eligibility
- International students with a high academic track record
- Must pass the entrance exam for the Master’s Degree
- Applicants from Japan origin is no longer eligible
Excellent in English Language is a must in order to qualify. Applicants should have a previous Bachelor Degree in order to proceed to the Masters Programme.
