The Global Curtin Scholarships are available to international students who meet the following criteria:

  • Have received an offer of admission into an eligible course at Curtin University
  • Have achieved a high level of academic merit in their previous studies
  • Have not received any other scholarship or sponsorship from Curtin University or any other organisation
  • Have not commenced their studies at Curtin University
  • Have met the English language proficiency requirements for their chosen course

Scholarship Worth

The Global Curtin Scholarships are worth up to 25% of the tuition fees for the full duration of the course. The scholarships are awarded as a tuition fee waiver and do not cover any other costs, such as living expenses, travel, health insurance or visa fees. The scholarships are subject to satisfactory academic progress and meeting the terms and conditions of the scholarship offer.

The Global Curtin Scholarships are applicable to any undergraduate, postgraduate or doctoral course offered by Curtin University, except for the following courses:

How to Apply

To apply for the Global Curtin Scholarships, applicants must follow these steps:

  • Check the eligibility criteria and the course availability on the Curtin University website
  • Complete and submit the online application form for the chosen course
  • Receive an offer of admission from Curtin University
  • Accept the offer of admission and pay the tuition fee deposit
  • Receive the scholarship offer letter from Curtin University

The Global Curtin Scholarships are open to international students from any country, except for Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, New Zealand citizens and permanent humanitarian visa holders.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Global Curtin Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be an international student
  • Have received an offer of admission into an eligible course at Curtin University
  • Have achieved a high level of academic merit in their previous studies
  • Have not received any other scholarship or sponsorship from Curtin University or any other organisation
  • Have not commenced their studies at Curtin University
  • Have met the English language proficiency requirements for their chosen course
  • Maintain a full-time enrolment of at least 100 credit points per semester
  • Maintain a course weighted average (CWA) of at least 70% each semester
  • Not breach the conditions of their student visa
