Candidates are permitted to submit applications for a number of different scholarships; but, even if they are awarded more than one scholarship, they are restricted to accepting just one scholarship grant. There is no way to accumulate or combine multiple scholarships or bursaries. The more qualified candidates will receive the larger reward. Candidates are not permitted to transfer or use one scholarship or bursary against another program, nor can they use it to pay for another program.

The student is only eligible for and will receive the scholarship or bursary for the academic year in which they have been allocated a place at UCD Smurfit. Scholarships and bursaries cannot be carried over to a subsequent academic year under any circumstances. If a student ultimately chooses to defer their offer, they will be disqualified from receiving their scholarship or bursary and will be needed to submit a new application at a later date. Candidates who are already in possession of a SUSI grant will be disqualified from receiving a scholarship of any kind. The UCD Smurfit School Scholarships are not applicable to courses offered through UCD Smurfit Executive Development, the UCD Belfield campus, or any programs that are run in conjunction with UCD Belfield. These programs include the Master of Science degrees in Biotechnology and Business, Biotherapeutics and Business, and International Law and Business.

• Are you interested, and do you qualify? To submit your application, please visit the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School’s website at www.smurfitschool.ie.
• This particular scholarship does not have a separate application process of any kind. This scholarship will be awarded to one deserving student from among all of the applications for courses that are received before the deadline of August 1st, 2022. Those applicants who have been successful in obtaining a Full or Conditional Offer and who have accepted that offer for the full-time MSc Finance program by the 15th of August 2022 will automatically be considered. After that, The School will pick a tiny short list, and by the end of August 2022, a winner will be chosen from among those candidates.
