Higher Education Scholarship Program of the Fibra Educa Foundation, is aimed at helping Mexican graduates of high school level or those who are in their last year and who are not older than 20 years. A total of 600 scholarships will be provided that will cover 100% of the tuition cost of the graduate or undergraduate course chosen by the beneficiary, at participating universities.
Likewise, those who are chosen will obtain help to study English with Quick Learning, for the duration of the academic training course.
The Fibra Educa Foundation’s main objective is to support young Mexicans who have low resources and communities in marginalized sectors.
Who can apply for Fibra Educa Foundation scholarships?
The program is intended for those who meet the following requirements:
- They are young people who are studying or have graduated from high school in Mexico.
- In addition, they must not be older than 25 years of age.
- In the case of having completed the studies, they must certify the completion of the baccalaureate through a certificate. Or, confirm the approval of the level prior to the one you are studying.
- On the other hand, those young people who do not have a minimum average of eight (8) in the last grade will not be able to participate in the program.
- Whose socioeconomic situations prioritize them to obtain support in their higher education.
However, applications will not be received from those who have studied the same degree that is intended to be accessed through the scholarships.
Neither can those who attend schools participating in the scholarship program or have started an admission process in any of said schools be part of it.
Those who are chosen must be able to complete the documentation required by the chosen institution to pursue the degree at the registration stage. This will only happen once the scholarship is accredited.
The following educational entities in Mexico are part of these scholarships :
- Patria University Institute.
- Lamar University.
- Jose Vasconcelos School.
- Potosi University.
- As well as the American University of Acapulco.
- The University of Professional Development.
- Among other.
How to apply?
Those who meet the previously mentioned requirements may begin their application for Fundación Fibra Educa scholarships by sending a complete application, which can be found on the web page of the student grant.
There, personal data such as name, surname, date of birth, nationality, and marital status will be requested. They must also indicate the university, campus, and degree of interest.
In addition, you must attach your CURP, high school certificate, and birth certificate, among others.
How are fellows selected?
The documentation submitted by the applicants will go through a first evaluation analysis. This part is where the socio-economic situation of the participants will be analyzed. Then, those who respect the previously established requirements will have a virtual interview with the organizers.
Once both selection stages are completed, the winners of the 600 scholarships to pursue higher education will be announced.
What do the scholarships include?
The Fibra Educa Foundation offers some 600 scholarships. Each of them has coverage of the total tuition and registration of the career chosen by the applicant. The duration of the same will depend on the chosen formation.
In addition, the winners will receive aid to study the English language with Quick Learning, for the duration of their university study.
Scholarships may not be combined with other benefits or support provided by the same participating institutions.
On the other hand, it is worth clarifying that scholarships are available for any degree course. However, there is a percentage dedicated to careers with a STEAM focus (which includes science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics). As well as those related to health sciences.
Once the grants have been awarded, the requirement to maintain them will be that the student has an average of at least eight (8.0). As well as passing all the subjects and complying with the regulations of the institution in which it is formed.
Additionally, a series of documents will be requested to send before starting the scholarships. They are:
- Registration request.
- Bachelors degree.
- Also, an official ID.
- Scholar’s birth certificate.
- And also, a document that proves your address and the people you live with.
There is no deadline for submitting applications for Fundación Fibra Educa scholarships, but the application option will be disabled when no aid is available.
