Language and Social Studies Curriculum Option: Up to one additional course may be substituted for a standard course in each subject (math, science, language arts, and social studies).
Math and Science Curriculum Option: Up to one additional course may be substituted for a standard course in mathematics and language arts, and up to two additional courses may be substituted for standard courses in science and social studies.
Additionally, for the math and science curriculum option only, a standard social studies course may be substituted for a foreign language, Alaska native language, American Sign Language, cultural heritage, or fine arts course.

Alaska Performance Scholarship 2022 FAQ
It bases scholarship levels on a combination of the student’s high school GPA and scores on a college entrance or career-readiness exam. High school seniors who graduate one semester early (in December) can receive APS if they meet all eligibility requirements. For example, a student who graduated in December 2013 was required to meet the curriculum requirements for the class of 2014.
