We are pleased to present four partial fees only scholarships worth £6,000 each for fee-paying international students. We’d like to commemorate the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology’s long history of inviting students from all over the world who have contributed significantly to the Institute’s and programs’ success. We have students studying for a master’s degree from 54 countries in the 2021/22 academic year.

The scholarship is awarded based on academic achievement. Only students who have applied to study one of the approved degree programs (all QSIoN programs except MSc/Dip/Cert in Clinical Neurology) are eligible for the funds.

About the Scholarship:

University College London, sometimes known as ‘London’s Global University,’ is the University of London’s oldest and largest college. It is now ranked 8th in the world (QS World Institution Rankings 2022) and the top-rated research university in the United Kingdom (Research Excellence Framework). The university was founded in 1826 and presently has over 40,000 students, with 53 percent of them being international students. UCL is a member of the Russell Group of UK institutions, as well as the League of European Research Universities, a consortium of European research universities that aims to influence European policy and promote best practices through mutual sharing of experience. UCL has a total of 30 Nobel Laureates among its faculty and alumni, with 840 professors and 7,000 academic staff dedicated to research and teaching throughout 11 faculties. Students at UCL have close ties to a number of prominent teaching hospitals, including the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, the Royal Free Hospital, and Moorfields Eye Hospital. University College London is actively pushing the concept of education for global citizenship in order to ensure that students have the freedom and encouragement to explore ideas from many cultural viewpoints while working on international initiatives. According to the 2014 Research Excellence Framework, University College London is the finest university in the UK for research strength, producing the most ‘world leading’ research. For the past eight years, the UCL Institute of Education has been ranked as the best university in the world for the study of Education (QS World University Rankings by Subject), and in 2015, it was awarded the Queen’s Anniversary Prize, which honors excellence, innovation, and public benefit in work done by UK colleges and universities. University College London is located in Bloomsbury, in the heart of London, near a multitude of intellectual resources such as museums and libraries, academic and professional bodies, theaters, hospitals, and medical institutes.

A new state-of-the-art UCL East campus is also being built adjacent to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, which will eventually house 4,000 students and 260 academic staff and bring together eight UCL faculties. University College London (UCL) is a big (uniRank enrollment range: 40,000-44,999 students) coeducational UK higher education institution that is officially recognized/chartered by the Privy Council. In a variety of fields of study, University College London (UCL) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees. For more information, see the uniRank degree levels and areas of study matrix below. This 194-year-old British higher-education school offers a stringent admission process based on entrance exams and students’ previous academic records and ratings. Students from all around the world are welcome to apply for admission. Students have access to a library, sports facilities, study abroad and exchange programs, and administrative services, among other academic and non-academic facilities and services. The university’s main campus is in Bloomsbury, central London, with additional campuses in East London and Doha, Qatar. The university is divided into 11 faculties: Arts & Humanities, Bartlett (Built Environment), Brain Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Institute of Education, Laws, Life Sciences, Mathematical & Physical Sciences, Medical Sciences, Population Health Sciences, Social & Historical Sciences, and so on, with over 100 institutes, research centers, and departments. It offers 440 undergraduate and 675 graduate degrees. The institution also preserves culturally significant museums and oversees the Orwell Prize for political writing, which is awarded annually. There are approximately 43,900 students from over 150 countries enrolled in the 2019-20 academic year. 840 professors and 7,100 academic personnel are among the 13,360 employees. It was the first institution in the UK to admit students to several of its most popular programmes, such as Economics, Law, Mathematics, European Social and Political Studies, Medicine, Psychology, and Theoretical Physics, based on their A-grade performance. The UCL Union was created in 1893 and serves as a voice for students as well as a provider of a variety of services. More than 200 organisations and clubs are actively active in the union, encompassing a wide range of sporting, cultural, and artistic interests. Over 250,000 alumni from 190 countries have graduated from the university, with nearly half of them being international students. There are additional 29 Nobel Laureates on the list. Among the graduates were Mahatma Gandhi, a leader of the Indian independence movement, Alexander Graham, the inventor of the telephone, William Stanley, an early pioneer of modern economics, and many others. Because of UCL’s challenging coursework, this program is suited for juniors and seniors, as you’ll be studying with highly respected academics and researchers in your admissions department. Because of their legacy of small-group instruction, this is a competitive program; but, if accepted, you’ll have the support of a tutor who has worked with visiting students.
