Scholarship details
From August 9, students can submit their application for scholarships and study aid for the 2020-2021 academic year, as published in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
The Ministries of Education and Universities explain that the department headed by Isabel Celaá has launched a website that includes the three types of scholarships and grants with a detailed information section to carry out the entire application process.
Location: Spain
Scholarship Amount
The amount to be received ranges from 300 euros for a basic scholarship to 1,700 for family income or 1,600 for change of residence. Academic excellence is also rewarded, and in addition to the fixed part, there are variable amounts. The combination of all these magnitudes configures the total amount to be received.
The Government ensures that the amount of scholarships and aid increases by 22% this year to 1,900 million euros, which is “the largest increase in a decade.”
Steps to apply for these scholarships
To apply for scholarships from the Ministry of Education, proceed as follows:
– Enter the electronic headquarters of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.
– Proceed to register with username and password. If the person has previously registered, the account is still valid.
– Go to the section where the scholarship you want to request is located and fill in the form. It is not necessary to provide any type of documentation because the evaluation committee is already in charge of making the pertinent checks. In very specific cases, a specific document could be requested.
