Students applying for postgraduate studies at AIT’s School of Engineering and Technology (SET), School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD), and School of Management can choose from a vast variety of no-bond AIT Scholarships (SOM). The AIT Scholarships, which are offered by Asia’s leading international higher learning institute, are intended to increase the number of skilled international scientists, engineers, and managers who will be needed to meet the future challenges of the emerging Asian Economic Community region, as well as those of other regions. In the form of financial assistance, AIT Scholarships provide an opportunity for eligible students from all over the world to study together in a single academic program at AIT. It contributes to subsidizing a portion of the study costs by covering all or a portion of the tuition for qualified students; however, the students are responsible for the remainder of the tuition, the registration fees (20,000 Baht per semester to maintain student status), and the living expenses (approximately 11,500-15,000 Baht per month), among other things. Each institution has its own committee for selecting students. The Selection Committee will submit a proposal to the School Dean for approval about the amount of AIT Scholarships grants to be awarded to each candidate (if they are eligible). This AIT Scholarships grant can only be awarded once before the start of the program and cannot be altered over the course of the full program.
