Prospect Burma joined with the University of East Anglia is giving another chance to deserving students of Myanmar to study in the United Kingdom. Two fully-funded scholarships are to be awarded to students of Myanmar to study in the university. The scholarship is for those talented and academically excellent students who wished to pursue a master’s degree in the field of Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies.
Prospect Burma is a UK registered educational charity group that is made to support Burmese students. The charitable group believes that through education Burmese students can make a difference in their own country. The scholarship award provides opportunity in studying degree courses which are not available in Myanmar. The scholarship grant will be awarded to successful students who would promise to return to the country with the skills ready to be applied or lived.
The successful scholars will be cradled in the University of East Anglia located in Norwich England. The university is known for its world class learning environment and their world renowned researches that made real impact in the globe.
The partnership of the two institutions will provide two successful scholars with a full-fee waiver and up to 12,193 USD that will cover accommodation and living cost allowance for an academic year. Applicants must be a Myanmar national who will pursue an MA in Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies or Literary Translation. He/She must complete a dissertation in relation to Myanmar and must possess a sufficient English Language knowledge.
