ENS de Lyon Offers Master’s Degree Ampère Excellence Scholarships in Various Areas , for successful international students .
The École Normale Supérieure de Lyon, ENS, is a public institutionFrench elite training professors, researchers, senior officials, as well as business and political leaders. Students choose their courses and divide their time between training and research in the sciences and humanities. Built on the tradition of the ENS de Fontenay-Saint-Cloud, founded in 1880, the ENS de Lyon also focuses on educational research. It is a symbol of the French republican meritocracy and today remains committed to the dissemination of knowledge to the broader public and to promoting equal opportunities. The ENS de Lyon is part of the Université de Lyon and supports quality research that has earned it a Fields medal (Cedric Villani, 2010) and many CNRS medals. It encourages interdisciplinary studies to foster a better understanding of complex contemporary problems.
Package Offered:
The scholarship offers € 1,000 per month for 1 year.
It is renewable in the second year as long as the candidate is selected by the director of the master’s program and validates the master’s year 1.
The scholarship does not cover travel expenses, living expenses, medical insurance or study materials.
Requirement (s):
Applicants must be international students born after January 1, 1995 (26 years maximum).
Applicants must prove that they have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree (equivalent to 180 European ECTS credits) or an equivalent diploma / level.
