Scholarship details
In memory of a long-time faculty, Albert Holloway, the California State University Bakersfield established the Albert Holloway Memorial Scholarship and it is now open for applications. Albert Holloway was recognized as a passionate member of the faculty who also supported the school’s athletics program, student service program, and other extracurricular activities.
The award varies and depends on the need of the recipient. In order to eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must by a student-athlete at the California State University Bakersfield. The applicant must be enrolled full-time in the school while representing the university in any leagues that the team is participating on.
To apply for the scholarship, the applicant must submit the General Scholarship Application while coordinating with the school’s athletics program to specify the application for the Albert Holloway Memorial Scholarship. The amount of the scholarship is to be determined and will depend on the funds allocated to the program and the need of the recipient of the award. The scholarship would have two different deadlines for different terms.
