Eligibility Critical Language Scholarships 2023
To apply for the CLS Scholarship Program, you must, at the time of submitting your application:
- Be a US citizen
- Be enrolled in a US Bachelor’s (Associate’s, Bachelor’s) or Diploma (Master’s, Ph.D., Professional Degree) program
- You must be registered for college in the Fall 2023 term at your college or university.
- Be 18 years old
- Be healthy and acceptable mentally and physically. Recipients must submit a satisfactory medical information form and medical statement and inform the program of any changes in their health status between the submission of these forms and their departure from participation in the program.
- Students must have completed at least one academic year. Study (two semesters or three quarters)
- To participate in the CLS program, finalists must obtain a corresponding visa from their own country of study (deadlines vary by country).

CLS Scholarship Supporting Documents:
- Each applicant must submit two letters of recommendation.
- To complete the CLS Application, you only need to download an unofficial transcript of the grant.
