The University of Queensland Offers International Doctoral Scholarship in Agriculture and Environment, Science and Mathematics, for successful international students. The academic year 2022-2023.

Package Offered:

  • The scholarship offers $ 28,854 per year (2020 rate), indexed annually to national and international students. A recharge of $ 5,000 per year for up to 3.5 years is also available.
  • The scholarship does not cover travel expenses, medical insurance, or study materials.

Requirements:

  • Acceptable course or subjects: Doctorate in Agriculture and Environment, Science and Mathematics.
  • Applicants need one of the following approved degrees to apply for a doctorate: Master of Philosophy (or other Master of Research); Bachelor’s degree from an approved university with at least Class IIA honors or equivalent; Coursework Master’s degree with an overall GPA of 5.65 on the 7-point UQ scale that includes relevant research experience, approved by the dean.
  • A graduate degree (at least one year full-time or equivalent) with an overall grade point average of 5 on the 7-point UQ scale will be considered on a case-by-case basis, along with proven research experience equivalent to the IIA honors class. .; Bachelor’s degree plus at least 2 years of relevant research experience, including research publications.
  • To apply for the opportunity, applicants must be admitted to a doctoral program at the University of Queensland. There is no separate scholarship application because you will have the opportunity to request scholarship consideration in the application for admission.
  • Candidates must submit a CV, academic certificates, and transcripts with their application.

Eligibility

This scholarship is open to Australian citizens, permanent residents, and International students who are currently in Australia at the time of application and commencement.

To be eligible for the Ph.D. student grant, you must meet the entry requirements for a higher degree by research.
