Scholarship details
The local and international students in Australia will be given a chance to start their journey to their education with the help of the Sydney Quantum Academy (SQA) for the academic year of 2021-2022. The scholarship aims to help the students who will be commencing their Ph.D. in Australia in Macquarie University. The scholarship program encourages deserving international and domestic students to join to help them with their financial struggles and be more focused on their education.
Macquarie University offers various scholarships that will help every student with their educational needs. Studying at the university makes the students become part of the multi-disciplinary team on research and be able to conduct an autonomous investigation in science and complete their activities in related to their research and academics. Macquarie University in partnership with the Sydney Quantum Academy will be providing the scholarship awards for the deserving local and international students in Australia with a generous amount that will help them further their education.
Eligibility
All nationalities are eligible to apply for the scholarship in any field courses provided for the Ph.D. degree program at the university.
The students must be able to be admitted and meet the requirements for the Ph.D. level at the university, the students must be able to hold an offer or already have an offer to the primary Ph.D. degree.
Application Process
After taking the admission process, students must be able to submit their application form for the scholarship at the university through an online portal, and must be completed. Students are required to submit their supporting documents as follow:
- Official Transcript of Academic Records
- Copy of Passport
- Australian Visa for the international students/current permanent visa/humanitarian visa
- Students CV which includes your research outputs such as publications, journal papers and any related proofs
The students wil be required to demonstrate their evidence of adequate level in the English language. Students can submit their test scores along with their applications.
Scholarship Awards
The scholarship awards will be depending on the following manner at Macquarie University:
SQA Primary Scholarship:
The students must not hold another scholarship at the Ph.D. level or the RTP in equivalent scholarship. The students who have already been admitted and start their Ph.D. in June 2021 will not be eligible for the award
SQA Supplementary Scholarship
Students must be holding an offer to the Ph.D. scholarship, the scholarship value here will be up to $24,000 per annum
SQA Supplementary Extension Scholarship
Students must be holding an offer in the PhD scholarship and awards to be given will be up to $24,000 and the scholarship stipend must be less than four years or equivalent in a full-time.
Application Deadline
The deadline for the application is until September 26, 2021, and will be offered annually for the deserving local and international students in Australia.
