The Circle of Scolars Scholarships is up for grabs at York University. The scholarship is intended for international students and for those who are entering the first year of a full-time undergraduate degree programme in the Arts, Media, Performance & Design, Liberal Arts and Professional Studies, Environmental Studies, Glendon, Health, or Science.
The York University has a proven track-record as a research facility with 53,000 students, 7,000 faculties and staff.
The scholarship is estimated at $15,000 and two scholarships will be awarded to would-be grantees. In order to be eligible for the scholarship, students must be entering one of the aforementioned domains of study. In addition, applicants must have been nominated by their high school and have proven academic track-record. Furthermore, anyone applying for th scholarship must have graduated from high school in the past two years.
Even though there are no test requirements, applicants whose first language is not English will be required to show a certification of their command of the language.
With the application deadline set for 15 October 2017, there are various ways to apply. First, students may fill out the Student Financial Profile (SFP) for the current session. They can also apply online. The scholarship website is found here.
