Scholarship details
An excellent opportunity by the University of Twente Scholarships (UTS) is now extended to prospective applicants who want to make it big in the world of academia and higher learning. You will be able to go to the Netherlands and study at the university using its financial backing.
The offer includes fifty scholarships which will be granted to the most promising candidates. Naturally, it targets non-EU and non-EEA students, and offers between EUR3,000 and EUR25,000 for a period of one year, making it one of the most generous offers in this field.
The candidates will have to fulfil the qualifying criteria set in place by the university in order to make the initial cut. All of the following criteria have to be fulfilled if you expect to qualify:
- The program will start as part of the 2018/2019 academic intake;
- The successful candidate will have legally obtained a visa in the Netherlands, if this is applicable;
- A minimum level of command of English will be necessary. TOEFL is the most popular exam along with IELTS that students opt for when they are asked to prove their language competence.
The first round of applications are now available. Round 2 will begin as early as 1 May 2018.
