The UNFCCC–UNU Early Career Climate Fellowship Programme is offering the young people from developing countries a distinctive chance to start their career between international climate policy development and research. This may last from six months to two years, and students will be selected based on their skills.
Upon completing the UNFCCC–UNU Early Career Climate Fellowship Programme, Fellows will be able to work in their home countries or globally, using the valuable experience and insights they have gained.
The scholarship can be taken in Germany, and for academically outstanding young graduates from developing countries who want to pursue a Ph.D. program. In the field or areas which match their individual background and interest.
Students must be enrolled in their final term or have recently graduated with an honors degree with academic excellence from masters or doctorate in the area field related to the environment, climate change, communications, international relations or a related field. Students may apply even there is no professional experience if the candidates who have years of experience will also be considered. A strong interest and highly motivated in the interface between international climate policy development and research.
There are no further test requirements, students whom English is not their first language are required to provide a proof of competence in the English language.
