Scholarship details
In an effort to attract and retain reputable doctoral students, the University of British Colombia Graduate School is offering Vanier Canada graduate funding opportunities. This grant for school is for brilliant Canada and International students, offering them the opportunity to perform their doctoral degree coursework in session 2019/2020.
Eligibility
– To be considered eligible for the award, students must be nominated by only one Canadian University. The Venier CGS is expected to be held by the student at their nominated university.
– Applicants must not, as at 1st May 2020 completed more than 20 months of doctoral studies.
– Applications are expected from Canada and all around the world.
– Applicants are expected to achieve a first-class average in each of their last two years of full study or its equivalent
Benefit
Successful applicants will be awarded grant of up to $50,000 per year for up to three years
Application procedures
– Interested candidates are expected to complete their Vanier application using the online application system; ResearchNet. Applicants are expected to submit their application latest 12 noon (PDT- Vancouver time) on Thursday, 5 September 2019.

-Applicants are expected to attach transcripts of all post-secondary studies, two letters from referees, certified true copies of official transcript and all other supporting documents.
