Scholarship details
Reedsy was founded in the summer of 2014 by Emmanuel Nataf Ricardo Fayet, Vincent Durand and Matt Cobb.They are proud to build a network of world class publishing professionals around the world. They are the most trusted network provider of book publishing network by the writers and authors. Reedsy aims believe; the more perspectives they can bring to the table, the more unique the books produced on Reedsy will be. Reedsy is passionate about nurturing the next generation of fiction authors. They designed scholarship for the students whose writing skills displays a clear and unique oice with the potential to thrive in the competitive literary landscape.
Eligibility
The applicants must be ;
- United States Citizens or Permanent Residents; and
- Accepted to, or currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or graduate program within the United States.
Applicants may submit their original article or novel with at least 1,500 to 7,500 words. Written novel will be accepted but not yet published.
Applicants may email their entries to [email protected] and include the following ;
- Name, address and contact number;
- The name of the college or university currently attending or planning to attend;
- Sample chapter attached to the email in .doc or .docx format with a written introduction. Google Doc links and PDFs will not be accepted.
Five finalists will be selected from each application pool. If the submission will be part of the shortlisted, they will be featured on Reedsy’s blogand social media channels. This will not affect their rights as the copyright holder.
Application Deadline
To be considered for the first semester scholarship, applications must be received by September 21, 2017. Applications received thereafter will be assessed upon the second semester deadline of February 21, 2018.
