This instructive and travel scholarship are planned to energize and bolster a graduate level academic projects in the field of magical or spiritual writing, through a yearly honor of $2,500. The project might be an academic analysis of a current scholarly work(s) or a unique imaginative work by the students (verse, short story, book, and so on.), or conceivably a task to rouse and advance further investigation into the field through movement and general perusing/examine.

The Hillside Source is your 21st-century asset for motivation and understanding from the world’s otherworldly conventions, innovative expressions, and present-day disclosure to support your exceptional profound way.  College of New Mexico graduate students studying the field of English Literature or any Language/Literature Department or region applicable to contemporary otherworldliness/supernatural quality with a GPA of 3.2 or above may apply. Exceptional upper division (Junior or Senior) students will likewise be considered.

Inclination will be given to a project that identifies with late twentieth Century or mid 21st Century otherworldliness or contemporary issues that effect otherworldliness. They will welcome the beneficiary of the scholarship to contribute a short article or exposition for posting on this site on experiences or points of view picked up in the scholastic year that is applicable to the topic.
