Scholarship details
The application is still open for the Julian Small Research Scholarship at the University of Sydney. This scholarship was built in memory of Julian Small, an industrial lawyer, and a leading employer. For many years they are providing a scholarship and the foundation passed this funds to the University of Sydney to continue its work.
This scholarship is open to all international students and domestic students and must be a full-time student. International students who also want to be admitted to a Ph.D. or LLM at the University of Sydney. This is also for formerly enrolled students, who have previously commenced a Ph.D. or LLM by research in the labour law discipline are qualified to apply for this scholarship, but preference will be agreed to commencing students who hold an offer of admission.
Students must note that they have to start their studies for which the offer is made and no suspension allowed.
The scholarship award will be amounting up to $26,682 per annum. The students will be awarded based on their academic merit, CV, personal statements that will demonstrate their concern or interest in their previous research achievements or in the labour law.
Please note that this scholarship is non-transferable and only one student can be awarded this scholarship.
The scholarship duration for PhD students is up to 3.5 years and for the LLM will be up to 2 years.
The deadline for application for this scholarship is until November 30, 2017.
