Scholarship details
The John F. & Edith L. Wilsterman Scholarship Trust is open to all graduating students from Genesee County public high school. Senior high school students from Michigan public high school and Luke M. Powers Catholic High School can also apply. Unlike any other scholarships, the John F. and Edith L. Wilsterman scholarship looks into the candidate’s character more than its grades.
This scholarship trust is created for those students that may not have realized their academic potential due to outside obligations, just like work schedules, family or some of their other responsibilities and issues.
The awardees from the scholarship applicants will receive for a total of $20000. They will receive $5000 annually for up to four years, and it is renewable. However, upon admission the scholarship trust now demands a minimum of 2.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent) after the first year of the post-high-school education and thereafter.
For more details, interested applicants can visit scholarship trust’s official website and contact through email.
