The University of Applied Sciences Hof, also known as Hof University of Applied Science, is awarding scholarships to qualified foreign students in need for the academic year between 2017 and 2018. The money is advanced with the aid of the Bavarian Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts and DAAD.

The money allocated to foreign students will help them with costs for living and study materials during their stay at Hochschule Hof. The amount of the scholarship varies between EUR100 and EUR659 per month, depending on how much funding is available for the respective semester.

Any applicants must be enrolled as full-time students or double-degree students at the Hochschule Hof for the respective semester, meaning for summer semester 2017 or winter semester 2017/2018.

International students must also be academically competent. Foreign students enrolled in Bachelor courses need a minimum score of 90 ECTS to be considered. Students who are receiving any sort of public financial aid, BAföG, DAAD, Erasmus or a governmental scholarship are exempted from the scholarship and will not be considered.

Applicants may apply until 27 October 2017 and need to present a short CV, proof of nationality (such as ID), latest transcript of records, proof of enrollment, a declaration of application and others that can be found here. Noteworthy, the Declaration of application needs to be brought to the International Office to Mr. Noldin (room A 015).
