Roger Williams University (RWU) is a private, coeducational American liberal arts university located in Bristol, Rhode Island, with a branch in Providence, RI. The institution was established and founded in 1956. It was named after a theologian and Rhode Island cofounder Roger Williams. In 1940, the YMCA Board of Directors took over the school, and the YMCA Institute granted its first associate’s degrees in 1948. In 1956, the Institute received a state charter to become a two-year, degree-granting institution under the name of Roger Williams Junior College. During the 1960s, Roger Williams College began offering bachelor’s degree programs.

The Roger Williams University International Scholarships values up to $10,000.
The $10,000 scholarship fund will be bestowed on eligible national and foreign students who have demonstrated their ability to improve and are excellent in academics.
Applicants wishing to apply for this scholarship program will have to provide their ACT or SAT scores. But students who wish to enroll into the department of Education course will be required to provide a teaching test scores.
The application deadline is November 1st 2017.
