We seek to reward academic success and encourage diversity among our student body by providing a number of scholarships that are available to students from other countries. According to the data we have, approximately thirty percent of our undergraduate students and more than forty percent of our postgraduate students were given scholarships to help pay for their education. Current students, once enrolled, are eligible for further scholarships and awards based on merit and/or performance, which cover roughly 32.5% of our total student body.

About the Scholarship Provider:

It is possible to trace the beginnings of the University of Nottingham back to the time when it served as Nottingham’s first Civic College. Throughout time, the University of Illinois moved the majority of its operations to the University Park campus. In 1928, the college celebrated its first convocation, and King George V presided over the ceremonies. He was a graduate of the college. In 1948, the college was granted a Royal Charter, marking the beginning of its transition into what is currently known as Nottingham University. Even when it was still in its infancy, it was able to draw a bevy of notable persons to give presentations and lectures, including Mahatma Gandhi, Albert Einstein, and HG Wells. Since that time, it has had tremendous growth and expansion, and it now has campuses located in a variety of nations, including China and Malaysia, amongst others. In this particular establishment, there has always been a considerable emphasis placed on encouraging fresh ideas. In 1955, the institution merged with the Mid-Trent College of Nursing and Midwifery to form what is now known as the School of Nursing. It was the first medical school in the United Kingdom to open its doors in the 20th century when it was founded in 1970.

The departments of geography, education and training, veterinary sciences, pharmacy, and English language and literature at Nottingham offer some of the most impressive coursework and research opportunities in the country. As a result of Nottingham’s long-standing commitment to excellence in scholarly investigation, the institution currently occupies seventh place among the universities in the United Kingdom. In addition, more than 97% of the research that is carried out at the University is acknowledged on a global scale, and 80% of that research is accorded the highest possible acknowledgment as being world-leading. The University of Nottingham is frequently placed towards the top of the rankings of the most prestigious educational institutions in the United Kingdom. It is also a member of the famous Russell Group, the European University Association, the Association of Commonwealth Universities, and Universitas 21, in addition to being the fifth largest university in the United Kingdom.

More than fifty distinct schools, departments, institutes, and centers for scholarly research may be found spread over the University of Nottingham’s five faculties. These places of academic instruction are collectively referred to as “faculties.” The graduates of this institution have been awarded various major prizes throughout their careers, including the Gabor Medal and Prize, the Fields Medal, three Nobel Prizes, and the Turner Prize. According to the data provided by the Higher Education Statistics Agency, Nottingham Institution is the sixth largest educational establishment in the United States. At the moment, there are over 33,000 students registered in it, hailing from over 130 different nations.

Students at the University of Nottingham have access to a diverse selection of study options because to the university’s extensive curriculum.
