Renova research scholarship is pleased to announce another scholarship offer for Doctor in Philosphy students and researchers engaged in environmental field in Sweden.  The scholarship offer is for international students who are interested to create a future of waste free environment by discovering means of more sustainable system of recycling and more efficient waste management.

The Renova is serious in promoting the balance in nature through waste reduction and management. It has been promoting recycling in the long term and continuously devotes itself to discovering more effective and efficient waste management and recycling. The Renova Group in Western Sweden is owned by ten municipalities.

The Renova Group is giving scholarships at the Chalmers University of Technology and The University of Gothenburg. These universities offer studies which are in relevance to the work of Renova. The scholarship grant id for PhD students and young researchers who are engaged in work that is relevant to the operations of Renova. The group has donated  6,134 USD for the scholarship grant. The application deadline is on February 8, 2018.

Requirements are as follows to be eligible for the scholarship offer:

  • The scholarship should be used to develop applicant’s own research. The scholarship is given to the scholar and is non-taxable. It is given to enhance the work of PhD students and young researchers in all scientific disciplines at Chalmers University of Technology and the University of Gothenburg.
  • The aim of the Renova scholarship is to motivate researchers aimed at improving the waste management and the reduction of waste through recycling. It aims to developed a system that is more effective in waste reduction.
  • Evidence of Proficiency in English language is required for non- English speaking applicants.
