The 2014 Excellence Framework Award winner Swansea University offers the PhD Studentship Program for Physics. Being one of the top research universities as named by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide, the university specializes on research and development, where most of its scholarships are hinged on.

This Physics PhD Studentship Program awards the beneficiary with $14,500, which can cover 3 years of tuition fees plus annual stipend. The scholarship program will open a study that focuses on the Fundamental Process in the Science of Nanometer-spatial and Femtosecond-temporal Resolutions. Students who will qualify in the program will study the Ultrafast Microscopy High Harmonic Generation Adaptive Control, where application knowledge in Microscopy will be required. Microscopy is currently used to generate small particles and molecules. The PhD Studentship Program operates under the supervision and collaboration of a team of research experts from Swansea University.

Students interested in this program can apply for it by taking into account several eligibility factors. This scholarship is open for European students who do not have English as their first language but at least scored 6.5 in their IELTS. Students can be qualified if they at least have a Master’s Degree Merit and possess either a first or an upper second class honors.
