Swansea University offers a Funded Physics PhD Studentship Program that focuses on Adaptive Control of High Harmonic Generation for Ultrafast Microscopy. This scholarship program provides beneficiaries with $14,500 that can cover approximately 3 years of tuition fees and an annual stipend.

One of the Word’s Top 30 Research Universities, Swansea University is considered to deliver high quality education, especially in the sciences. This specific scholarship targets students who want to study Ultrafast Microscopy High Harmonic Generation Adaptive Control. This study will include the exploration of Image Structure and Molecular-scale System Fundamental Processes, specializing in the Science of Nanometer-spatial and Femtosecond-temporal Resolutions.

In this study, practical knowledge and application for Microscopy will be required since the use of this equipment is necessary in the study. Students who will be in the program will be given the opportunity to closely work with an expert research team from Swansea University and private and local organizations that specializes in Microscopy.

Students who want to enter the program should have a Master’s degree merit and at least got first or upper second class honors in the course. Qualified applicants should score a 6.5 or higher in IELTS since qualified candidates must not have English as their first language. Only offered to European students, more details about the English Language requirements are found at http://www.swansea.ac.uk/international/students/requirements/english-requirements/.
