Scholarship details
Welcome for the new academic intake at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Sociology and Social Work at the Aalborg University Denmark. This year, the university is inviting three PhD candidates to benefit from the great scholarship that is up for grabs. The scholarship will kick off on 1 February 2018, and more slots will be available further down the road.
The scholarships will be granted to candidates that are interested in the field of sociology and emotions. It is expected that the project the candidate is applying with will have to do with the said field.
The award is quite generous and offers:
- Three years of financial backing for the PhD programme
- Employment and remuneration which is well in line with the Ministerial Order on the Appointment of Academic Staff at Universities
In order to be eligible, candidates must have completed BA and MA studies in Sociology. The applicants in School of Sociology and Social work will also be readily accepted as prospective candidates for the programme.
Candidates will be asked to furnish a letter of recommendation as well as draft their research programme and make a strong case for the benefits their research will confer in the studied field of interest.
