Candidates are welcomed for Ph.D. scholarship in the interdisciplinary field of X-ray physics, materials science, and computation. The position is a completely supported position with full-time compensation.
As a Ph.D. student, you will be a piece of the Section for Imaging and Structural Analysis where they create and apply systems for multiscale imaging and auxiliary investigation by methods for electrons, X-rays, and neutrons. They will likely depict the structure, science, and morphology of materials, interfaces or surfaces quantitatively, and thusly to connect this data to the properties of materials and gadgets.
