The Phi Delta Kappa International in partnership with the Pi Lambda Theta is pleased to announce the PDK Educational Foundation Students Support Scholarship. The scholarship is funded by the generous donors through the efforts of PDK Educational Foundation.

The scholarship may amount from $2000 to $3000 and is open to current members of the Pi Lambda Theta. The applicant must be enrolled in an accredited college during the application period which run from January 2, 2018 up until April 2, 2018.

In order to apply for the scholarship, interested members of Phi Lambda Theta must complete the online application form which can be accessed through the website of the organization. Specific instructions for applying are also stated in the same page. Aside from the accomplished application form, several documents to prove eligibility must also be submitted. Parts of these supplementary documents are transcripts of undergraduate work as a testament to academic success.

An essay, amounting to 500 words, must also be submitted. The essay must discuss something that the applicant has learned regarding teaching and/or the public education system. Student teaching experiences and other thoughts must be shared also.
