Scholarship details
As a way to recognize outstanding student athletes, the Positive Coaching Alliance is pleased to announce the establishment of the PCA Triple-Impact Competitor Scholarship Program. The scholarship is given to high school student-athletes who could prove themselves deserving of the scholarship by answering questions related to personal mastery, leadership, and honoring the game.
The scholarship was created by the PCA Founder himself, Jim Thompson and amounts to $1000-$2000. The amount given would depend on the location of the recipient of the scholarship.
In order to be eligible, the applicant must be a High School Junior entering senior year with a GPA of 2.5 of higher. The applicant must also be a resident of the United States while participating in any competition as sanctioned by the school or local clubs.
To apply for the scholarship, the applicant must submit the filled-out Triple-Impact Competitor Scholarship Application form together with numerous testimonials or recommendation letters. One recommendation letter must be from academic personnel while the other letter must be from a coach that the applicant played for. At least three testimonials from people who have seen the applicant compete, such as teammates, rivals, referees, must also be submitted.
