Scholarship details
Coshocton High School has a lot of opportunities for their students, especially to those graduating senior. They had a lot of scholarship programs in line. What is more interesting is that if the applicant intended to pursue a degree related to architecture, graphic design, art education, writing, performance, music, arts or other fields, then the applicant got a chance to be one of the scholars.
Patricia Roadruck Cheney is a popular elementary school art teacher in Ohio and as a memorial for her, CHS offered a scholarship fit to those who are deserving. This scholarship was offered to the public since April 2006 by Ms. Cheney’s children. All the applicant needs to do is to prepare all the documents needed as of the following:
- Completed and approved form
- Acceptance form from accredited degree or certificate granting institution
- High school transcript or equivalent record of academic performance with at least a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Wallet-size applicant’s photo (senior picture excellent)
- Two recommendation letters, with at least one form current or former applicant’s teacher
- Two to five pieces of artwork or any similar demonstration of creative expression
- Short essay that details the interest and career intentions in art fields (list indicated in the first paragraph)
