The Overseas Development Institute is the leading international private agency that aims to inspire and inform policy which led to reduce the basic problem in the world which the Poverty and creates program that provides livelihood projects. They also focus of the resolution of Humanitarian issues. Along with the private sector of the local agency, the ODI has been delivered best practice of helping young professionals to study practically a helping hand with the donors. They aim to provide a good caliber of economists and statistician in the country. The ODI Fellowship Scheme is looking for a motivated and qualified post graduate students of economics and statistics. The Fellowships will sends post graduates students to work in public sector in some developing countries in Africa. There will be 2 year contracts to study. The fellowship will be sponsored by the government agency, Development Institute of United Kingdom.
Fellowship has 2 period annually to be awarded. All pre-selected candidates are encourage to attend the selection in February involving with a panel interview and group activities and exercises. ODI will invite governments interested in employing fellows per year.
Eligibility
- The fellowship is open to all candidates to any nationality who have a master’s degree of PhD in statistics, economics and other related field.
- Suitable specialised qualifications at postgraduate level include agricultural economics,environmental economics, international economics, health economics, development economics, and statistics
- The award of a fellowship is conditional for those studying for a post graduate degree at the time of application.
