International Cultural Service Program (ICSP) is designed by Oregon State University to draw Students from around the world to receive Scholarship and reward, in exchange for Cultural Service to the University, academic colleges and the surrounding local environs.

This program was inaugurated in 1983 by the University, the duty of these International Students is to heighten the cultural consciousness and foster a better understanding of different heritages around the world, among the people of the state and the neighboring regions.

Requirements for the Award:

  1. Interested international students must be committed to partake and meet the requirement of 80 hours per year of cultural service.
  2. Must be ready to meet other activities which might include talking and speaking to schools’ students or community groups about the cultural heritage of their countries or take part in any on campus international events.

Virtually, students from all countries around the world are eligible for this program, with the exception of USA (International Students Only).

 Eligibility:

The award is open to the already admitted International Students or Prospective candidates who are interested in enrollment of the University. Such prospective candidates must apply for admission to the OSU for 2020-20 by January 15, 2020.

Applicants must not be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or eligible to receive U.S. federal financial assistance.

These international students must prove the need of financial support and meet the minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA requirement.

Successful ICSP students are entitled to be given a tuition-waiver scholarship ranging from $7,500 – $30,000.

 How to Apply:

Current International Students will log in to their dashboard, select ICSP and apply by filling the necessary details and submit their application, while the prospective candidates must first of apply for admission in to the University of Oregon, wait for an email of invitation to enter UO scholarship dashboard which should be expected within a week log in to the dashboard and fill the required information and submit.
