Calling all International students to apply to the Oort Master Scholarships for International Students at Leiden University. Deserving students who wanted to gain Masters in the study of space and asteroids. The scholarship is awarded in the field of Astronomy. This is a good opportunity to all students who has the passion to study the space and beyond. This program will take effect in year 2018 to 2019.
The main objective of the scholarship committee is to provide students with the necessary skills and equipped them for professional and national leadership value. Through this educational program, the scholarship department believes that the University can produce more graduates with a sound character and leadership skills.
Based in Netherlands, the Leiden University is considered as one of the oldest and ancient existing University in Leiden, Netherlands. Applicants may start to complete requirements prior to the deadline date on February 1, 2018. This is for master’s degree only and is being offered in Astronomy course.
This scholarship is renewable after one year of award grants, aside from the tuition fee the scholars are given home fee, al allowance yearly of €11,000 per year. Upon stoppage enrollment then the scholarship automatically suspends all benefits.
For Entrance Requirements Applicants must be an International student or non-Dutch nationality, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in astronomy or physics, should have an outstanding academic merit, not receiving other financial support, shows dedication to finish Masters in the field of Astronomy.
