The center of the American states in the field of Human Development is the OAS General Secretariat (GS/OAS). This department give support to the Education and Employment of American States. GS/OAS gives a chance to all its state members promoting educative development process. It aims to improve the standard of living of individuals by means of education. It further gives assistance to students to pursue their bachelor programme through formal school training and scholarship called OAS – Western Kentucky University Undergraduate Scholarship in USA.
The scholarship is open to all students of AOS member estate except the United States who wanted to pursue their undergraduate degree. Qualified candidates must only enroll courses offered by the Kentucky University. An amount of USD $11,400 will be given to successful scholar to cover the tuition fees yearly and likewise a onetime $1,000 for subsidence allowance. Given only to the top ranking scholar showing a high performance in academic grades. This is a good incentive for the scholars as motivation to continue their studies.
Scholarship is only available OAS member state, with exception to the United States and will enroll in the University of Kentucky.
