The University of British Columbia deals a Future of Mining Award for highly motivated students. All International Applicants are inspired to apply for the NBK Future of Mining Award NBK Future of Mining Award.

Future of Mining Award is for International Master of Engineering Applicants All International MEng students are boost to submit a paper entitled: “The Future of Mining.”

Prospective students will be awarded in the field of Engineering award amounting up to 3000$ US Dollar. Limited numbers of the student will be accommodated depending on qualified students. The scholarship can be taken up in Canada.

This is an online application and the following supporting documents are needed to apply:

  • Current Resume (Curriculum Vitae)
  • Statement of Intent
  • Transcripts
  • Letters of Reference
  • English Proficiency Test

Canadian and International students are qualified to apply.

North American Admissions Requirements

Holding the academic equivalent of a 4-year baccalaureate degree from UBC, A minimum overall average in the B+ range at UBC 76% in third- and fourth-year level courses, or Academic standing with at least 12 credits of third- or fourth-year level courses in the A-grade range (at UBC 80% or higher) in the field of study, or

International Admissions Requirements

International applicants are entitled who hold a credential estimated comparable to a Canadian four-year baccalaureate degree and who validate superior academic standing, equivalent to an overall degree standing of B+ at UBC 76% or higher.
