Climate change is not just a local issue but it is recognized globally, in order to address such catastrophe the Nature Conservancy provides one of the studies which could address the issue through research and development.
The Nature Net Science Fellows and Research Grant program in the USA is created in order to support the project to study the climate change and its prevention which can truly threat the humanity and community. It is the mission of the Nature Conservancy to create an excellence academic program that can focus solely to the study of climate change and promote leaders in line with the combination of science and realistic present situation.
The Nature Conservancy in a nonprofit organization which has offices in Arlington, Virginia, and United States. Its vision and mission is the land and water conservation from all which our life derives.
The scholarship program is being offered only in the Post-doctoral research programme with emphasis in the Halting climate change and Adapting to climate change. Each applicant chosen will get an annual salary amounting to $50,000 with added benefits for two consecutive years of study. Aside from the salary mentioned annual budget for travel is also provided worth$5,000 and a research fund of $20,000 which will be given yearly.
Eligibility of the scholarship applies to post-doctoral program only, not presently employed as a post-doctoral student with other university. Have gained completion of their doctorate degree prior to the application of the scholarship.
All international students are encouraged to apply provided the criteria for selection is met. Application deadline is on November 1, 2017 with inclusion attachment to the scholarship application of the applicant’s cover letter, research proposal, CV resume, three letters of recombination and recommendation letter from the mentor.
