The MuchGames.com Video Game Research Scholarship is offered to students who will be able to create the best essay that will include a research proposal on a study and experiment showcasing the understanding and knowledge of biological, psychological, and social impacts of video game addiction to the society.

A study from an American Academy of Pediatrics journal shows that 72% of the American households are involved in playing video games. In fact, 9% of the 3,034 children included in the study are reported to exhibit signs of addition. And this is where the MuchGames.com Video Game Research Scholarship came from.

The lucky candidate to be chosen for the scholarship will benefit from the agreed total amount that will be sent to his or her school directly to be credited for the tuition fees. But in order to benefit from this, candidates must choose a single research design (fixed design) or a combination of multiple designs (flexible design) in the proposal. There are several types of research designs that can be chosen, including Descriptive, Correlational, Semi-experimental, Experimental, Review, and Meta-analytical.

In order to qualify for the scholarship, all undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in an accredited university or college in the United States can apply for the program. Having at least 3.0 GPA, qualified students should create an essay with at least 750 words and be submitted ahead of the deadline.

It is also important to offer proof of enrollment by submitting candidates’ current transcript of records. Student ID and personal information must be included in the entry.
